Mia loved visiting Grandma's house. Today, they were going to make warm, soft bread. Mia put on her tiny yellow apron. Grandma put on her big flowery apron. "Can I help, Grandma? " Mia asked. "Of course, little one," Grandma smiled. First, they poured the flour. It felt soft like a cloud. Then, Mia helped stir the water.

They worked together slowly and carefully. While the bread baked, Grandma told Mia stories about when she was a little girl. The kitchen smelled wonderful.
